Grilled Chicken Breasts accompanied by home fries, peppers and onions

Ingredients:

  • Yukon potatoes (enough to cover half of the pan you are going to cook with)

  • 1-2 bell peppers (I like different colors in my dishes so I use about a of four different colored bell peppers)

  • 1 sweet onion

  • 4 chicken breasts (Can use more if you want)

  • Hella seasonings

  • Butter (I switch between unsalted and salted. Do not really notice a difference between the two but whatever you want to do I am sure it will work)

Directions

Prep

  • Potatoes 

    1. Dice up potatoes 

    2. Season generously

  • Peppers and Onions

    • Can dice or slice these

    • Season generously

    • Chicken Breasts

    • Wash

    • Season generously

    • Potatoes: Probably best to start with potatoes as they tend to take the longest

      • Fry or Bake. Fry or bake until the potatoes are almost soft. You do not want them to be completely the desire texture/softness as you will finish cooking them at the end of this dish

        1. Fry on low/medium heat

        2. Bake in oven @ 415 until

Let Him/Her Cook!

  • Chicken

    • Melt a tablespoon of butter in a skillet

    • Cook on low and cover for about 20-30 or until the skin is golden brown and/or once the temperature reaches 165. Flip the chicken every 5 minutes or so. 

    • Once done set the chicken aside

  • Peppers and Onions

    • Use the same pan of the chicken breasts

    • Cook peppers first and when they first start getting soft throw the onions in

    • Done with these once the peppers are nice and slick like my boy Ethan Splan after a night out on the town


    Once Potatoes are desirable throw everything into the same plate

    • You can plate it real nice if you cooking for a date or a group

    • Drizzle hot honey onto the entire dish (generous amount - honey be good for you!)

    • If planning on eating right then throw it in the oven at 250 for about 5 minutes

    • Lastly, DEVOUR!
